Which means the best weapon in any diabetic’s armoury is a blood glucose meter (glucometer), along with the knowledge of how to use it to best effect.
Oft times GPs or nurses have them to give away free; sometimes the manufacturers will send them free; sometimes people buy them. But are they all the same or, if you have a choice, which one might be best for you?
