Type in the nickname you want to use and click the green arrow (Ignore the other button above the space for your nickname)
Next you will see this screen:-
Go down to the bottom left and click on “add new”
When the next window comes up click on “Find server”
Which will bring you to this screen – scroll down on the right until you find “Newnet” and double click on it.
Then double click on the highlighted “Newnet random server” in the left hand box which will bring you to:-
Click “Next”
Click “next” again and type in #diabetes-support
Type in the nickname you want to use
Unless you have already registered your nickname leave the next box blank – if you have registered your nick, you can put in the message as below, substituting your password.
Click “next” and then click “save”
You’ll be returned to the console page… highlight “newnet” in the list of servers and click “connect” at the bottom
The place to type “Hello” or whatever you want to say is at the bottom of the screen – then hit “enter”
